Being Published

Both of us love to write and there is hardly anything more gratifying than getting an email, a letter or even a phone call from somebody saying that they either enjoyed what we have written or found it useful.

Writing is really about sharing; whether that be knowledge or a passion. It is about communicating. A lot of really good writers who have something to say, never get published because they either never submit anything or they take rejection personally. Fortunately we are in an era where there is almost an insatiable demand for material and technology allows us to self-publish if we can't find somebody interested in our work.

It is much easier to make an excuse than an effort

Well, one thing is for sure! Unless you're Stephen King or somebody of that ilk, writing doesn't pay the bills. What is do, however, is provide enormous satisfaction and pleasure. Of course, if you happen to be lucky enough to write restaurant reviews, you also get some great free meals!
